In room 11 we have been learning about ourselves, We have been filling out our Mihi’s and talking to our peers about our name’s and family as we get to know each other.
This term room 11 has been practicing our swimming skills, we love swimming and learning new skills. We have just been learning about safety at the pool and how to swim using freestyle and backstroke.
In room 11 we have been buddy reading with room 2, we love reading with other students because they can help us with words we are stuck on and they ask us question about our books. We even get to listen to them read a book to us.
Making play dough with room 8 🙂 We had a lot of fun making play dough for our language experience, it was fun getting our hands dirty and learning about lots of new ingredients. We loved the opportunity to work with others younger than us so we could be role models.
